Course Placement with Qualifying ACT, MCA, and SAT Scores

Students that demonstrate readiness to succeed in college with qualifying ACT, MCA or SAT scores will be exempt from all or portions of course placement.

To satisfy course placement requirements with standardized test scores
For courses requiring
college level:		 ACT Score required* SAT score required* MCA score required*
Reading 21 OR
19 with
2.5 HS GPA		 480 OR
440 with
2.5 HS GPA		 1047** OR
1042** with
2.5 HS GPA
Mathematics 22 OR

*Standardized Test Scores are good for five years. HS GPA is good for ten years.

**MCA Reading score does not satisfy course placement for courses requiring college-level writing. Students must present an additional way to qualify in addition to the MCA Reading score.
