Explanation available online for proposed charter amendments on 2022 general election ballot

The 2022 general election is just a few weeks away and Kaua‘i voters will have the chance to weigh in on several proposed changes to the county charter.

Four charter amendments have been proposed by the Charter Review Commission and will appear on the general election ballot. The amendments are as follows:

The public also can pick up a free copy of the proposed amendments at the Office of Boards and Commissions from 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays, except holidays, at the Līhu‘e Civic Center.
